We are seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team in Toronto.

The Corporate Finance Analyst will:

Be at the forefront of various business strategy and growth initiatives as a key member of a small, multidiscipline (tax, M&A, finance) corporate office;
Join a growthoriented business and gain exposure and understanding in a wide variety of different business models and industries from both a domestic and international perspective;

RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting / FP&A

Coordination and communication of quarterly budget updates and 5year internal strategic planning process;
Initial consolidation and rollup of budgets;
Development and assistance of internal interest, tax, and sharebased compensation models;
Monthly reconciliation of interest model identifying and explaining key variances;
Assisting with scenario modelling and other adhoc tasks as required.

Other Activities

Validating and / or updating M&A models for potential acquisitions;
Assisting the external reporting team with periodic reporting requirements such as the annual impairment analysis;
Support the Csuite with Board presentations and materials;
Updating IR presentations and fact sheets used on investor calls.
Undergraduate degree or MBA;
A professional accounting designation (CPA with accounting firm experience preferred)
Experience in corporate budgeting or basic financial reporting activities preferable;
Experience and understanding of financial modelling;
Developed interpersonal skills and organizational abilities;
Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and organizational abilities;
Advanced understanding of excel and exposure to financial modeling;
Strong planning abilities and critical thinking skills.
