Real Estate Secured Lending in partnership with First National Financial LP transitioned the process of underwriting and fulfillment services for mortgages originated through the Broker channel to First National.

First National is a leading Canadian provider of mortgage lending services.

This partnership allows TD to leverage First National's industry leading process and technology while maintaining our disciplined risk approach, to better serve the needs of the Broker channel while focusing our internal efforts to deliver legendary customer experiences through our proprietary channels.

Reporting to the Team Manager, RESL Operations Officer is expected to perform the following accountabilities:

  • Responsible for remediation of Customer ID codes based on instructions provided by GAML.
  • Utilize FN portal for extract customer ID information from Final reports provided by Solicitor.
  • Update customer profile on HOST (TD portal) with information from solicitor form.
  • Ensure all ID codes on HOST reflect the correct method of ID Verification.
  • Works within welldefined guidelines, accountable for completing routine transactions or repetitive processes within standardized framework.
  • Execute transactions accurately, on time and in line with established guidelines / procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs)
  • Work closely in a team environment to meet individual and team driven benchmarks and service level agreements
  • Responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness to ensure business objectives and service level goals are met in a timely manner
  • Complete adhoc reporting for the senior management team
  • Actively provide continuous improvement suggestions and communicate value added input during huddles and meetings

Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail, demonstrating high level of accuracy on data entry and daily turnaround time goals are imperative and expected to be met by each officer
  • Personal maturity, disciplined organizational, analytical and time management skills including ability to multitask and adapt to changing workflows and processes
  • Knowledge of TD's internal systems is an asset (specifically Admin Apps/HOST and Credit Link)
  • Good technical skills (experience in Excel and Word is an asset)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Ability to comply with Bank and industry codes of conduct and other regulations as applicable
  • Be an effective team player and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Employee must be able to accommodate flexible work hours (between 7:30 AM 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday
