Summary


Reporting to the CEO of WOLF Advanced Technology Canada Inc., the Manager, Facilities Maintenance will be an active member of the Operations team.

They will be responsible for managing the operations of the facilities by ensuring that they are well maintained and meet the needs of WOLF.

Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering products to customers on a weekly basis throughout the GTA with us of a company vehicle.


Job Duties

  • Responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the organization's facilities, including the buildings and equipment.
  • Plan, conduct and/or schedule regular maintenance activities in facilities and on equipment.
  • Ensure that the facilities meet local and provincial regulations and comply with safety and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement facilities management policies, procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, vendors and other service providers as needed.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget.
  • Negotiate contracts for facilities management.
  • Conduct regular assessment of facilities to identify areas of concerns and develop plans for improvement.
  • Evaluate and upgrade equipment, tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and coordinate moves, relocations and changes in facilities layout.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair history, preventative maintenance schedules and equipment warranties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including employees and managers and external stakeholders such as landlords and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform deliveries throughout the GTA (Class G).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED required. BA/BSc in Facility Management would be an asset.
  • 35 years of proven related experience and/or training.
  • G class driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Strong leadership skills, problem solving abilities and technical knowledge of equipment and facilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance many priorities at once.
  • Knowledge in health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to identify safety risks and respond quickly.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems is an asset.
  • Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting and project management).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly.
  • Have an easygoing personality with a strong sense of humour.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to circumstances as they arise.

Working Conditions

  • A company vehicle will be provided for this position. Must have a clean driving record and be willing to commute to Stouffville on a fulltime basis.
  • Must be willing to drive around the GTA conducting deliveries on a weekly basis.
  • Must be capable of operating in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment with lots of different projects arising.
  • Must be able to conduct physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours during peak times of the year including evenings and weekends.

Employee Requirements / Qualifications
WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements.


Applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to prove that they are able to work in Canada on a permanent basis and undergo a police check with no criminal background.


Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
