The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time, contract (1 year) Research Coordinator.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Coordinator will work on the Scaling Up Maternal Mental healthcare by Increasing access to Treatment (SUMMIT) Trial, led by Dr.

Daisy Singla (Senior Scientist at CAMH).

SUMMIT is a project that endeavors to implement and evaluate the delivery of a brief, evidence-based, psychological treatment of behavioural activation for perinatal depression and anxiety.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Aid in the development of the research questionnaire administration platform and research database on a webbased platform (e.g., RedCAP)
  • Oversee data entry and
  • Provide database training to staff, supervision of staff, and study team members on an as needed basis
  • Coordinate with contracted information technology consultants/companies on an as needed basis to ensure the proper functioning of server, computers, databases
  • Maintenance of resource directory in multiple platforms database, online, etc
  • Conduct regular meetings with Principal Investigator(s) and research study team to communicate uptodate information on data management

Qualifications:


  • Must have a strong understanding and expertise in working with webbased data management programs.
  • Must have a strong ability to exercise sound judgment, exercise considerable independence and
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and be comfortable engaging and exchanging information with a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Please Note:
This full-time, contract (1 year) position is part of the OPSEU bargaining unit.


Salary Range:
$ $45.31 per hour
