We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of
Project Manager/Leader - Intermediate to join our dynamic team to work at our client.

Contract Duration: 15 months_


Responsibilities:


  • This is for a Procurement Project Manager.
  • They will need to have strong contract management experience and be able to read contracts and engage with vendors.
  • They will be consulting and advising a number of parties.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

  • Experience supporting the analysis and execution of vendor contract deliverables, including change management (RFCs, Change Orders), including writing content and providing advice
  • Project management and vendor management
  • Public Sector experience.
  • Manage the administration of existing contracts
  • Manage the execution of Service Requests for new services from vendors
  • Manage the processing of project & contract change requests
  • Manage the overall change process including obtaining vendor quotations and facilitating the required approvals
  • Support project managers in the execution of procurements and change orders with vendors
  • Prepare briefing notes, conduct vendor meetings and liaison with other procurement and legal departments as per the need
  • As needed, independently manage, and execute complete procurements life cycle
  • Managing deliverables and dependencies that cross multiple inflight projects
  • Supporting the PSRN Program by proactively identifying, communicating, and managing multifaceted clientfacing risks and issues to deliver a superior customer service experience and to support efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction
  • Developing and presenting ministryspecific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateral
  • Proactively identifying risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Identify and mitigate strategies and responses to the issues and risks.
  • Managing vendors, stakeholders, and peer groups across ministries.
  • Creating or supporting development of project artifacts, Briefing Notes, Change Requests, Contracts, Request for Bid (RFBs) etc.
  • Financial management of project as necessary or if needed
  • Working with the client representatives and in partnership with other project managers to develop integrated plans
  • Managing deliverables and dependencies that cross multiple inflight projects
  • Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction
  • Developing and presenting ministryspecific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateral
  • Proactively identifying risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Identify and mitigate strategies and responses to the issues and risks.
  • Managing vendors, stakeholders, and peer groups across ministries.
  • Creating or supporting development of project artifacts, Briefing Notes, Change Requests, Contracts, Request for Bid (RFBs) etc.
  • Ensure project implementation plans have no adverse impact to public safety operations.
  • Financial management of project as necessary or if needed
  • Developing complex network transition and migration strategies with cross stream dependencies including vendor activities
  • Developing and implementing network transition plans
  • Managing largescale, complex, integrated project plans
  • Mandatory Requirements:
- *Project Management experience
- *All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.

  • Demonstrated project management experience on complex and technical I&IT projects
  • Experience providing oversight on integrated plans to ensure the successful delivery of 3rd party vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated experience identifying issues and managing risks for large complex enterprisewide projects
  • Experience managing and coordinating project change management process with 3rd party vendor contracts

Vendor, Procurement, and Contract Management

  • Experience interpreting, analyzing and managing vendor commitments to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Experience interfacing directly with vendor leads o
