The ministry of Children and Family Development offers a variety of programs and services, including adoption, programs for children with support needs and mental health concerns, community resources for children and youth in or transitioning from government care, child welfare, and support for youth involved in the justice system.


Office Manager's provide support to program management and staff and coordinate office administration functions, human resources, payroll, records management, facilities and asset management.


Job Requirements:


Education and Experience:


  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
  • Experience leading others.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Completed post-secondary coursework in office administration.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience supervising others.

About this Position:


Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work 2 or more days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.

This is a temporary appointment for up to one (1) year, this temporary opportunity may become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
