Description
We are looking for a
Network Administrator to join our Information Systems team. Reporting to the IS Supervisor, you will be continuously learning as you work alongside our Jr. Programmer Analyst and Systems Administrator to ensure all our systems run like a well-oiled machine.

No one day looks the same for our IS team as they tackle new and exciting projects, all while keeping our critical systems up-to-date and operational.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage network, switch configuration, and IP design.
  • Administer Linux system and
  • Collaborate with the IS team to provide support to endusers through a help desk ticketing
  • Ensure network security through the administration of SecureWorks managed
  • Allow for smooth transitions between systems by administering Middleware data management
  • Safeguard information security using Datto backup
  • Support the administration of VMWare ESXi0.
  • Implement and maintain network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of network systems to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve network efficiency and security.

Skills Required:


  • Postsecondary education in computer systems & networks or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be
  • 2+ years in a similar role with comparable skills and responsibilities.
  • 2+ years experience supporting Windows 10/11 PC clients.
  • 2+ years experience with functions of devices; routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers (Aruba/HPE, iOS, Cisco Meraki, FortiGate).
  • Experience using Docker and Kubernetes tools.
  • Handson experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, VLAN.
  • Experience with layer 2 switching concepts/technologies: MAC addresses, VLANs, Trunks, STP
  • Experience with IP addressing, subnetting, and
  • Ability to utilize common network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup.
  • Experience with sound scripting/coding skills (Linux shell, PowerShell, Python).
  • Working knowledge of IT security best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 administration.
  • Ability to share ideas and solutions to work challenges in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

This position will be working on-site during the training period with future opportunity to work from home from time to time.
