    Position Summary

    As a member of the Parking team, the Parking Attendant is one of the first faces a guest, volunteer or employee sees when visiting Stampede Park. This Parking Attendant will ensure, that as a first point of contact, they will consistently provide an exceptional experience to everyone they see, greet, and direct. The Parking Attendant will also ensure the safety of our Park by directing traffic in an orderly, safe and friendly manner.

    The Parking Attendant positions available are year-round casual-part-time positions that will require the successful candidate to work flexible hours throughout the week. Scheduled hours may be 0 – 40 hours per week with no guarantee of hours based on the operational needs of the team.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all guests, volunteers and employees have an exceptional experience while visiting Stampede Park.
  • Assist guests in parking vehicles in an orderly, safe and friendly manner.
  • Control and direct traffic.
  • Ensure parking regulations are followed.
  • Operate a radio in a professional manner.
  • Assist guests with general requests, inquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy.
  • Have a thorough understanding of events and facilities on Park in order to provide information and directions to guests.
  • Ensure Stampede security and safety procedures are adhered to and communicate any safety or security concerns promptly.
  • Own your zone Keep your area clean, tidy and organized. Ensure Stampede Park is a fantastic place to be.

    • Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:

  • Must have exemplary guest service skills.
  • Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Must be a team player with an ability to also work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Cashier experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts is required.
