The Technology Regulation and iGaming Compliance Branch (TRCB) is seeking a Lead, Technology Risk, who will help to lead in the design, development, and maintenance of an overarching process to identify risk as it relates to computerized technology in gaming, which includes electronic gaming as well as the newly regulated industry of internet gaming (iGaming).
- Focus on writing, creating, and revising the technical standards.
- Lead and closely collaborate with the team of specialists to create alignment within and across groups toward shared business outcomes.
- Develop and implement a datacentric approach to validate the effectiveness of technical standards.
- Be integral in creating and maintaining a research and innovation program and identify key performance indicators that will establish the success of such a program.
- Keep abreast of best practices across regulated gaming jurisdictions and technical industries to identify relevant practices.
- Develop, communicate, and execute project plans for risk identification.
- Assist with assessment of gamingrelated technology, technical compliance activities, and other TRCB projects/assignments as needed.
- Supervise the work performed by others and perform work to address standards interpretation requests from stakeholders. Provide clear feedback and discuss and document the results.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
- Superior writing proficiency to generate technical documentation that is concise, unambiguous, and easy to understand.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and overseeing the work of team members.
- Excellent knowledge of risk identification, management, and analysis.
- Sound knowledge of IT security, change management, project management, and incident management.
- Indepth knowledge of computerized, software, and electronics technology.
- Experienced with data analysis, data visualization, and related tools.
- Welldeveloped communication skills; and
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
