Job Summary:

Your role:


  • Assist in the data validation of Central Square Technologies through manual and imported data procedures
  • Assist with testing processes within the CST tax software
  • Assist with testing of the tax customer service portal
  • Run regular reports and queries and verify results
  • Ensure data follows a standardized process and correct any inconsistencies
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to report on progress and observations
  • Identify creative solutions to motivate consistent use of document and records control systems
  • Develop Standardized Operating Procedures related to data standardization for new property tax software
  • Assist with finance related projects as they arise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Experience related to the duties listed above, normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and 1year postsecondary education in finance, accounting, records and data management, business, computer science or a related program, and 612 months experience performing data entry and analysis or software testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and project planning skills
  • A selfstarter and able to work with limited supervision
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing work and attention to detail
  • Must be customerservice oriented and be able to work with different people to achieve the goals of the project
  • Advanced data management and computer skills, including

Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Must have analytical, reasoning, and problemsolving skills to verify accurate information and correct discrepancies in accordance with The City of Guelph's requirements Experience using SQL to perform data extraction would be an asset.

Rate:

$24.67-$30.30 /hr
