The Opportunity
SunMETA Group is currently seeking to fill the permanent role of an
Administrative Assistant in Calgary, Alberta.

This position is in the Curriculum Department and will work with a collegial, fun, and supportive team


Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant is a core member of the SunMETA team:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of educational materials
  • Ensures that educational content complies with organizational standards, branding, guidelines, and educational best practices, maintaining consistency across all program materials
  • Learns and maintains an indepth knowledge of program requirements and regulations for various programs
  • Provide support to all faculty regarding programs, courses, and course materials.
  • Initiate outbound cold calls and conduct detailed surveys with employers, gathering market insights, while maintaining precise records of all interactions
  • Communicates and coordinates extensively
  • Completes administrative tasks, updates information systems, supports projects, facilitates initiatives;
  • Works effectively in a supportive, collaborative team setting
  • Supports other duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postsecondary diploma required (degree is an asset).
  • An education background is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and phone communication experience (surveying, cold calling, or sales/call center)
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel. PowerPoint
  • Technologically savvy with an eye for efficiencies
  • Willing and able to work within a team environment on independent tasks
  • Reliable, punctual and wellorganized
  • Desire to engage and contribute to a fun, fastpaced, supportive environment
  • Detailoriented, selfmotivated and able to derive satisfaction from completing tasks well ontime.
  • Able to prioritize daily and weekly tasks; a proven ability to meet deadlines.
