Conduct monitoring, analysis and reporting to ensure expected levels of service delivered to customers is achieved
Be knowledgeable of vendor release cycles
Create and maintain technical support documentation
Perform oncall duties for afterhours support calls
Respond to oncall pagers promptly and resolve issues for customers accurately and quickly
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

One of the following combinations of education and experience:
Degree in a related discipline and one year of relevant experience;
OR:
Post secondary diploma in a related discipline and two years of relevant experience;
OR:
A one year certificate in a related discipline and four years of relevant experience
Experience with IIS 8.5 or higher, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL scripting, ASP.

Net and SSRS proficiency is required:

Experience with iNovah, Aperta, COBS, IcePay,TD Business Windows and CCURE is an asset
Automation experience and orchestration is an asset
Demonstrated ability to perform complex endtoend solution delivery and maintenance
Experience supporting vendor developed solutions
Experience in a public facing organization is an asset
Well developed analytical and organizational skills, with strong problem solving capabilities and a good understanding of business processes
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service
Demonstrated ability in managing priorities and workloads, consulting, and executing work assignments simultaneously is essential
Must be able to work and communicate with all levels of technical staff, business users, vendors and management
Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders as part of that, be empathetic, a good listener and adopt team building and high performance attitude
Ability to work under pressure in a team setting and with business and vendor personnel
Be a selflearner who has the ability to identify knowledge gaps and develop approaches to fill those gaps
Experience with supporting vendor developed solutions

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week plus on call shifts

The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time.

Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite as per the Letter of Understanding between the City of Edmonton and Civic Service Union 52.

Salary Range:
$43.384 to $ hourly); $76,431 to $96,316 (annually)
