Overview of the role:
The Door Hardware and Lock Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, advice, and assistance to customers and internal stakeholders.
The specialist will work in collaboration with the operations team and customers to ensure all product-related questions and concerns are resolved efficiently.
What you will do:
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate door hardware/lock products to meet their specific needs
- Prepare Special orders, and invoices for customers
- Perform rekeying service, duplicating keys, and providing expert advice on lock maintenance and security
- Provide training and support to customers and colleagues on the use of door hardware and lock products
- Continuously maintain and update product knowledge to ensure the provision of highquality technical assistance and support to customers
What you bring:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and individually
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problemsolving skills
- Experience in sales, retail, or customer service in the door hardware/lock industry is a plus.
- Previous experience or job training regarding locksmith is an asset.
Working conditions
- Ability and willingness to work from Monday to Saturday with one set day off
- Working in a retail setting with a broad range of customers and suppliers
