This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Langley, BC.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Lot Attendant will be responsible for yard clean-up and organization; some shop clean-up; truck and equipment washing duties. This position performs such duties as power washing trucks and equipment, moving vehicles, and cleaning the service lot.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Power washes/steam cleans all brands and makes of trucks and equipment
Moves vehicles and equipment in a safe and conscientious manner, asking for help or direction if unsure of vehicle operation
Ensures the wash bay is kept clean at all times.
Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees
Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
Removes all debris/garbage from lot and cleans up all scrap.
Pulls weeds.
Sweeps lot where needed.
Cleans up outside lunch area.
Paints tables.
Paints lines for organized parking of service and parts trucks.
Helps with shop cleanup.
Becomes familiar with and complies with the company's Health & Safety Manual.
Other duties may be assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to become WHMIS certified, if necessary
Valid Commercial Driver's Licence: Class 3 with Airbrake Endorsement or Class 1 (to test drive truck & trailer)

Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kgs or 50 pounds.
Must be able to walk around exterior yard area (long periods standing / walking / bending).
Must have the mobility to easily access and egress trucks and equipment.
Must be willing and able to work various shifts, possibly including weekends.
