Our Opportunity:

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Operations Training
, the _Manager, Operations Training plays_ a key role in the development and facilitation of training programs within Tim Hortons University.

This individual will work cross functionally with key stake holders to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging training content is developed to facilitate successful training programs to Restaurant Leaders.


Role Description:


  • Presentation & facilitation skills
  • Design and develop appropriate training materials and professional development courses.
  • Facilitate interactive and engaging training programs for handson, classroom and virtual.
  • Deliver on all stages of a project from startup to finish within the established timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects to successful completion.
  • Write, edit and format documentation and materials needed for each program including facilitator scripts/guide, workbooks, storyboards, webinars, videos and other training media as needed.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to determine needs, develop course content and evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
  • Participate in all aspects of the instructional design process
  • Establish instructional design and development standards for all existing and future training materials.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs through surveys and analysis with internal and external stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

years of experience in training or QSR operations

  • Ability to write and speak French is required
  • Strong facilitation and hands on training skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Power Point & Excel skills
  • Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills, planning and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multitask environment with competing priorities
  • Willingness to take on new projects and initiatives
  • Strong problem solving and task analysis skills
  • Possess a responsible, detailoriented, resultsdriven work ethic
