Sales & Admin Support - Service Department


HTS is looking for a sales support person to further the growth of our Ottawa office by assisting the service team with sales, project management, customer relations and day to day operations.

The Service Sales Support is involved in all areas of the business, from sales to admin.

This is a technical role in the HVAC/mechanical construction and building operation industry. Education or experience in this field is required.


Responsibilities:


  • Work safely following company policies and guidelines.
  • Field visits to acquaint and gain knowledge of HVAC industry equipment and sites.
  • Investigate and familiarize yourself with all aspects of the service business.
  • Perform inside sales duties such as service followup and customer satisfaction.
  • Formalize, prepare, and forward service quotes and contracts.
  • Update and maintain quote activity reports for monthly and quarterly reporting to manager.
  • Provide support to technicians for required materials follow up, address information, alternate site contacts, contractor info, review of previous visit findings etc.
  • Learn and participate in service functions including Admin, Dispatch etc.
  • Assist with contract setup and management.
  • Assist project management and part sourcing.
  • Assist with invoicing and collections.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience is an asset
  • High level of commitment to customer service
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excellent problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Requires a selfmotivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Be a selfstarter with a focus to contribute and succeed
  • French/English considered an asset
