Summary of position


The Production Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting operations including all related activities such as purchasing supplies, coordinating documentation, delivering services, and materials for production, and maintenance.

This includes but is not limited to preparing and distributing items for production orders in an effective, accurate and timely manner.

Here are some of the different activities you'll be asked to do:

  • Responsible for the creation, coordination and distribution of production orders including documents required for setup activity.
  • Create Purchase Orders for various facility supplies including parts for maintenance. Following up on delivery status with suppliers and coordinate regular communication with internal stakeholder.
  • Day to day oversight for uniform supply and activities including working with the supplier to ensure timely and accurate delivery of uniforms and services, resolution and escalation of issues as required.
  • Order plates/pads required for production and coordinate delivery to appropriate work centre by using approved procedures and processes.
  • Provide administrative leadership and backup for activities including card access and security system processes as needed.
  • Creation and coordination of case labels using the approved systems for production operations meeting the required production schedule.
  • Work with sales and customer service to coordinate artwork for new case labels as needed
  • Comply with all applicable health and safety legislation.
  • Perform any other related duties or follow any other instructions as may be directed by the Leader.

If you've got:


Education (diploma, degree, professional designation):

Minimum High School Diploma.


Experience:


  • 25 years work experience in a pharmaceutical packaging environment.
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Problemsolving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and multitasking ability
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems
