COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has become a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

JOB SUMMARY

Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
Pack containers and repack damaged containers.
Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Assisting in deliveries.
Prepare orders.
Restocking of product.
Using power tools such as: Chop saw, Table saw, Angle grinder, Drills, And Sawzall.
Operating forklift and pallet jacks.
Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 50lbs.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Health & Safety

Create and maintain a culture of Safety First, leading by example.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

Highschool diploma or equivalent GED.

Experience

2 years' experience working in a warehouse.

Certifications

Valid driver's license class
Forklift certificate would be an asset.
Valid first aid certification would be an asset.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Good reading and writing communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
