We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Ingersoll, Ontario.


Responsibilities:

- responsible for benefit and disability claims administration;
- organize and administer annual vacation booking process, accommodate requested changes;
- maintains social fund and reconciles activities to the account;
- full cycle recruitment activities for all hourly positions, in collaboration with corporate Talent & Recruiting team;
- coordinate onboarding and general orientation of employees;
- coordinate new hire and annual employee refresher training for all departments;
- coordinate training for and maintain employee certifications and equipment licenses;
- assists with Temporary Foreign Workers Program administration;
- liaise with all employees, supervisors, and managers on HR programs;
- participate in production meetings and other meetings when required;
- participate in plant Health & Safety and Food Safety committees and activities;
- participate in employee engagement activities and programs;
- participate in building a culture that aligns with our organizational values;
- assist with organizing e-learning, providing coaching, support and follow up;
- assist with attendance management program, prepare coaching letters and attendance discipline;
- ensure compliance with established policies;


Qualifications:

- post-secondary program in Human Resources or a related discipline;
- strong computer skills, written and verbal communication skills;
- highly engaged team player, able to research and work independently;
- strong decision making, organizational, and critical thinking skills;
- excellent interpersonal skills, communicative, collaborative, able to liaise well with a diverse workforce;

  • 1 2 years of experience in an HR Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience with Kronos and Dayforce (Ceridian) is an asset

Fixed term contract
