OPPORTUNITY:
Used Equipment Acquisition Specialist*****:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and possess or have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent in respective region
  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Business & Marketing, Automotive, or a related program preferred but not required
  • Valid Passport for cross border travelling (Canada/US)
  • 5+ years' experience in equipment sales, equipment training or a related role
  • Previous experience in the used equipment purchasing and sales process
  • Experience in the equipment retail/dealership market
  • Experience in equipment inventory management and related processes

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Seek out used equipment for the company to procure through various channels that aligns with the demands and needs of our end users
  • Source and procure inventory for Sales & Rentals stock across the company network
  • Facilitate direct customer purchases
  • Source and participate in equipment auctions
  • Conduct equipment evaluations both remotely and onsite perform run tests & test drives and other operational activities to determine equipment value and opportunities
  • Complete tradein evaluations using internal process and parameters
  • Analyze the used equipment market and understand trends in the industry
  • Collaborate effectively with our service departments to obtain quotes and recommendations on potential equipment repairs
  • Review service quotes and approve repairs
  • Manage the overall service process from acquisition to sale ensuring alignment with approved quotes and approving any adjustments throughout the process
  • Conduct quality control inspections on units completed from service and ready for sale
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner and provide sales leads to applicable regional sales managers
  • Partner with applicable dealer in regions where direct sales occur
  • Participate in territory mapping to identify purchase and sales opportunities
  • Perform other responsibilities such as equipment training as required to support the department in achieving its objectives and in support of our customers
