OVERVIEW


The Surveillance Supervisor leads a group of Surveillance Operators who monitor the premises using CCTV equipment and will report suspicious activities to the appropriate parties.

The Surveillance Supervisor will report to the Surveillance Manager and will oversee the shift they are assigned and ensure policies are enforced as mandated by the Director of Surveillance & Compliance and BCLC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality
Protects the safety of casino patrons, employees and company assets
Responsible for all duties of Surveillance Operators
Utilizes cameras and other approved observational resources to document all activities in all areas of the property
Conducts ongoing training and performance appraisals of assigned Surveillance Operators
Performs other job-related duties, as requested by management
Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
Attend on-going job training as directed by management


Responsibilities & Qualifications:


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have Minimum of 1- year experience as a Casino Surveillance Operator
Must have knowledge of all operating departments (Slots, Table Games, Cage, Security, F&B)
Must have experience and knowledge of BCLC and GPEB Policies and expectations.
Must be proficient and knowledgeable of all casino games.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays based on operational needs Must not have family or personal relations with casino employees, in accordance with BCLC regulation
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Proven superior customer service experience
Previous casino surveillance experience required
Post-Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset
Previous law enforcement/loss prevention an asset
Excellent command of the English language (verbal, written and comprehension)
Previous supervisory experience an asset
Highly proficient computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong analytical and observational skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong mathematical skills
Must not be colour blind
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Required to sit for extended periods of time with several monitors and computers
Must be able to work in an environment with no natural light
