Responsibilities:

  • Reliable and able to soak in information. We want to be able to teach you things and for you to pick up on it quickly and potentially do the job yourself down the road.
  • Aware of your surroundings. Able to work safely in a trade work environment. Safety is key.
  • Assist and learn tasks related to Home Renovations, Professional Painting and everything home care.
  • Openminded and not stubborn about how to do things. We have the proper team for you to learn a lot and grow. We are also willing to talk about an approach and if you have something that might work better then we will be happy to see you contributing.

Skills:


  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team *
  • Hard working and reliable is how our crew runs.
  • Knowledge of construction, painting techniques and materials
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
  • Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing materials
  • Physical strength for heavy lifting and carrying of materials

Job details:
At this present moment about 75% of the work will be Painting and 25% will be home renovations. With due time, this is scheduled to change.

We are looking for someone interested in a career with the company and are hoping to find someone interested in long-term employment.

Wage is based off experience and there is a lot of room to grow with Prisma

Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
- painting: 1 year (preferred)


Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Thunder Bay, ON (required)

Ability to Relocate:
