    Store Manager

    Tsawwassen Mills - GUESS Factory

    Job Description

    • Reports to: District Manager
    • Supervises: Co-Managers, Assistant Managers and Store Associates

    Position Overview

    The store manager is responsible for sales performance, growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations, and staff training and development.

    People Development

    • Network, recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates
    • Set annual goals and provide feedback and coaching
    • Train on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer experience

    Customer Experience

    • Ensure excellent customer service through regular assessment and coaching
    • Lead by example on the selling floor
    • Implement visual merchandising standards and promotions

    Drive Sales + Profitability

    • Exceed profitability expectations through sales strategies
    • Control expenses and maximize store sales

    Operational Effectiveness

    • Meet payroll and loss prevention expectations
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Make sound decisions and communicate effectively
    • Act with integrity and adapt to business changes
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and fulfill assigned duties

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum two years of store manager experience
    • Proven track record in driving sales and profit results
    • Computer proficiency and report analysis skills
    • High school education or equivalent preferred
