Description

GESS Security is seeking an experienced low voltage security technician to join our team. We work with clients in Greater Vancouver, the Tri-Cities, with occasional out of town jobs. We provide competitive salaries and opportunity for advancement and training certifications of new and innovative products.

Work includes installation, programming, and maintenance/servicing of the following:

Low voltage wiring
Security Cameras
Alarm Systems
Access Control Systems
Systems Networking
Intercoms
Data/Communication
Service call
Site assessment
Phone support

Requirements:

You will be required to work outdoor, rooftops, on the ladders, in attic and crawlspaces and construction sites with PPE
Attention to detail
Troubleshooting skills
Willingness to keep learning
Independent
Honest
Ability to take direction and function in a team environment and/or work alone.
Class 5 Drivers License

Trades Qualified (TQ)

OR
Security Alarm Installer License
Motivated to continue education in learning new products
Low voltage electrical tools and safety gear (i

e:
Steel toe boots)

Flexibility to work afterhours and out of town on occasion, as required;
Excellent time management skills;
Strong command of English, verbal and written;
Excellent documentation skills;
Experience and certification in the following would be an asset: ICT, Salto, Genetec, Bosch Alarm

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$41,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
