Applications are invited for the position of Dental Programs Manager in the School of Allied Health Division, located at the Welland Campus.

The salary range is $83,443 to $104,303 for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Co-ordinate team efforts to ensure the effective development & delivery of the Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting and Dental Office Administration programs.
Work collaboratively with faculty and program staff to continually review and improve the content and delivery of all aspects of the curriculum.
Oversee all clinical elements of the programs
Lead and participate in various internal and external committees.
Anticipate educational trends and curricular issues
Lead Accreditation processes for the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs
Contribute to overall student success initiatives
Provide recommendations for admission requirements and selection processes.
Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical activities.
Lead successful College Recruitment initiatives on behalf of programs
Participate in divisional and college meetings.
Support program budget processes
Assist with planning of advisory committee meetings/ preparing reports for circulation to stakeholders.
Assist with staffing and scheduling

Qualifications:

Dental Hygiene Diploma
Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists Ontario
Dental Assisting Certificate level I and II
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Proven ability to work in a team environment and to foster/support the same with students and colleagues
Experience in a clinical teaching and learning environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
