ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Senior Geologist and Exploration Manager, the
Intermediate Geologist will contribute to drilling programs across
NexGen's land claims with the objective of additional economic uranium
discovery. The incumbent will participate and contribute as part of a multi
- disciplinary team to plan and execute drill program(s) and other
exploration endeavors across NexGen's extensive land position with a
strong focus on health, safety, and the environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
( INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Engage in and supervise geological work including core logging, sample
collection, and QA/QC to ensure exploration best practices.
Interpretation and reporting of geological data, developing geological
models and working with the Exploration Team to advance project
understanding.
Planning drill hole locations and effectively testing targets as directed.
Completing required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Complete field work to ensure drill programs are conducted to high
standards.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Geology is required.
Experience in mineral exploration is preferred.
Strong understanding of geological software and databases
(Leapfrog,ArcGIS,Geosoft,acQuire).
(Excel,Word,Outlook,Teams).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in
working with a broad range of people.
Comfortable working field rotations to support drill programs in
remote locations.
Proven commitment to workplace safety and demonstrates safety
leadership.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
