Position Information:

Temporary until approximately October 31, 2024.
This position is for the Civic Campus.

Rotation/Shifts:

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements:

Graduate of a Health Information Management Diploma Program recognized by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) at a certificant level;
Member in good standing with CHIMA maintained through ongoing CPE credits;
Minimum one (1) year experience working with health care records and/or personal health information release;
Demonstrated knowledge of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, Ontario;
Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing;
Ability to work effectively within a team;
Close attention to detail;
Ability to work unsupervised;
Level of information technology knowledge to efficiently navigate electronic medical record systems;
Ability to effectively deal with difficult situations/people;
Ability to prioritize work, recognizing relative urgency of requests;
Eligible to work in Canada.
