Skills/Qualifications:


  • Have 1+ years of Uniformed Security experience in a retail, hospital, College, hospitality or public building setting
  • Be able and willing to work at different stores in Downtown Core
  • Strong communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Valid Security Guard License
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare professional security reports with meticulous detail and grammar
  • Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management both of which require annual recertification
  • Knowledge of Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
  • Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills
  • Ability/willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations
