Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate across Corporate, Field Operations and Projects groups to assess opportunities to consolidate and leverage third party spends.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to support Business Unit needs for materials and services based on NRM's Procurement strategy.
  • Manage the RFx process with suppliers/contractors to support NRM's procurement strategy along with daytoday procurement requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to develop scopes of work and complete commercial/technical evaluations and award recommendations for sourcing events.
  • Execute contracts in collaboration with NRM Legal, Finance and Business Units that properly reflect the requirements and ensure that all identified risks are assessed and appropriately mitigated.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics for Strategic Alliances based on NRM's Procurement Strategy
  • Interact with Suppliers, Contractors, Project Managers, Operations and others to support P2P activities and ensure internal and external relations are maintained.
  • Support the daytoday procurement activities, including assisting in all the SCM P2P processes, including providing support and guidance to Buyer Team. This role is also responsible for supporting purchasing requirements for NorthRiver's Corporate groups
  • IT, HR, etc.
  • Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures including audit guidelines.
  • Maintain NRM's roster of Master Service Agreements and other custom agreements, work with business units to determine the value of agreements to the business, provide support in obtaining value, complete evaluations of usage/performance and make recommendations for renewals.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:


  • A University Degree or S.C.M.P. designation is preferred, along with years progressive relevant supply chain management (SCM) experience, oil & gas industry preferred.
  • Strong Supply Chain Management skills and knowledge of strategic sourcing techniques including market research, analysis, strategy development, contract negotiations and performance management.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) including report generation and data analysis; particularly SAP S4 Hana and Power BI.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of contractual/legal terms and ability to facilitate negotiations.
  • Confidence in dealing with stakeholders and complex situations and an ability to analyze complex issues that have a significant impact on the business and generate bestvalue solutions.
  • Possess strong communications, negotiation, and business aptitude skills.
  • Exercise judgment regarding strategy development and negotiating positions.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with business partners.
  • Working knowledge of suppliers, operations, and Supply Chain Management policies and procedures.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships focusing on excellent customer service.
  • Committed to ongoing personal training and development.
  • Selfstarter capable of prioritizing multiple requirements and work with mínimal supervision.
