Our Field Service Technician's are available for 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving and delivery up to 60% of a regular work week on average, including overnight travel.
- Service Hillrom & Baxter products. These include (Pre-Installation and Preventive Maintenance (PMs), Routine Maintenance (RM's), troubleshooting and component replacement and minor cosmetic repairs.
- Deliver and remove product as well as complete functional checks.
- Develop and maintain good relationships and provide excellent customer service with various levels of internal and external customers.
- Demonstration to customer on how to use rental products.
- Used handheld device and Baxter order management system to coordinate customer orders for shipping and delivery
- Stay up to date and be proactive with safety, health, and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and customer regulations. Operate safely and within guidelines or regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow oncall rotation to provide 24/7 coverage. Exhibit excellent time management skills.
- The ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in providing excellent inperson and telephone customer service
What you'll Bring:
Required:
- Diploma or Degree from a Technical, Trade School, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Valid passport & visa for training and meetings to the US
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years current, clean drivers' abstract
Preferred:
- 3+ years of troubleshooting experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to use Teams/Zoom for virtual meetings.
- Experience or eagerness to learn and safely drive and operate a 5ton truck about 2024 feet in size.
