Bring your strong administrative experience and superior organizational skills to this position


The primary responsibility is coordination of staffing for all French language proceedings for the Province of British Columbia in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts; in conjunction with legislation under s530 CCC and Bill C-78 with respect to the Divorce Act.

This involves scheduling staff through liaising with other court locations; as well as organizing and arranging travel and accommodation reservations.

The position is also responsible for identifying training needs, developing, and delivering training activities, and coordinating outsourced training for bilingual team to support professional development in the French language.


Job Requirements:


  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent administrative experience.
  • A combination of relevant experience, education and training may be considered.

Preference may be given to those who:

  • Fluently speak, write, and read French.
  • Experience in administration within the justice or legal system e.g. court setting or legal office.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in coordinating, developing, and facilitating training.

About this Position:

This competition is geographically restricted to New Westminster.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
