We have an opportunity for a Forklift Driver with computer skills at our plant located in St. Laurent.

The forklift operator will help in some inventory management tasks, documentation and cycle counts.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Complete and submit your equipment inspection form, and immediately report any defects, which may jeopardize the safe operation of your equipment.
  • Prepare containers or goods and load into trucks, as requested by your Lead Hand/Supervisor
  • Ensure all containers are thoroughly cleaned, free of debris and in good operating condition before being shipped to our customers.
  • Occasional manual loading and unloading of containers or equipment.
  • Assist Lead Hand/Supervisor in weighing and grading of all inbound materials
  • Perform basic warehouse duties
  • Load and unload product for truck or container
  • Move product within warehouse and between warehouse and production areas by using forklift

Requirements:


  • Able to lift up to 55 lb (25 kg) occasionally
  • Forklift License
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
