Hours: Full-time permanent

Availability Required: Weekdays, Weeknights & Weekends

Location: 41 Temperance Street, Bowmanville, ON

  • Help customers with musical instruments and gear sales and rentals
  • Understand each customer's specific needs and suggest suitable products and services
  • Demonstrate products, explaining features and benefits to customers
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Follow up on orders with customers and suppliers
  • Use a common-sense approach to troubleshoot and resolve issues with customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, policies, and procedures
  • Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions
  • Merchandise store to enhance customer shopping experience
  • Assist with store maintenance, warehouse duties, and other tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a musician proficient in at least one instrument
  • Flexible to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Demonstrated work ethic and dedication
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in recommending solutions
  • Good organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Prior retail or sales experience preferred
