Job Overview:


Competitive Salary starting at $48,000 depending on level of experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies as required and arrange for servicing of office equipment
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Respond to telephone, greet visitors
  • Follow up with Operations concerning Health & Safety inspections, vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Assist Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator with AR/AP tasks such as processing vouchers for payment, enter invoices in accounting system, match invoices with purchase orders etc.
  • Assist Payroll Administrator with verification tasks and updates to employee profiles
  • Back up for Payroll Administrator when needed
  • Assist with managing inventory control of uniforms and warehouse supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Good interpersonal skills and attitude
  • Be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance
  • Have a professional presentation
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable and understanding of general bookkeeping an asset but not required
  • Bilingualism not required but would be a definite asset (English required)
  • Strong communication skills

Working Conditions:


This role requires work at the company Head Office or at various locations throughout Ottawa, and occasionally other city locations in Ontario to conduct investigations, provide coaching/support, and facilitate learning.

This position generally works on Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern time but may occasionally require some additional hours on evenings and weekends as needed.
