Overview:
Our growing Maintenance function and team is located by our Corporate Office at Toronto Pearson Airport where we operate out of three hangars in addition to our two Fixed Based Operation (FBO) locations in Kitchener/Waterloo and Simcoe.
The Role:
***Provide administrative support to the Technical Managers and Heavy Maintenance Manager with the function of aircraft maintenance planning activities. Responsible for reviewing our maintenance tracking system with the support of the Technical Managers to identify and plan maintenance events as they become due. Producing document packages to allow Engineers to complete all maintenance services needed, reviewing, and scanning those document packages and uploading them into the tracking system.
What you will do:
- Support maintenance management team in the planning and paperwork management of aircraft maintenance
- Populate clipboards with daily work packages
- Work with the Production Manager to report any maintenance schedule conflicts
- Entering maintenance tasks into Electronic Maintenance Software System (EMSS)
- Support heavy inspection lead on planning, ordering and return of parts and tools to ensure cost efficiency
- Build heavy inspection templates within the Electronic Maintenance Software System
- Review work packages for accuracy and coordinate with the Engineers to rectify work order corrections before submitting them to our quality department
What you bring:
- Any previous experience in aviation administrative work
- MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fastpaced, dynamic environment multitasking and prioritizing when needed
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience in an aircraft maintenance planning function will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of CAMP, TRAXALL and/or CORRIDOR (EMSS) will be considered a differential
