The Role

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with corporate financial & planning teams on shipment readiness, hurdles, discrepancies, and continuous improvements.
  • Review & validate all transactions for accuracy and ensure forms are filled out correctly and consistently.
  • Maintain all records for Equipment, inbound/outbound BOLS, ERP transactions, & inspection documents.
  • Maintain quality control of goods by verification and auditing of outgoing shipments.
  • Execute shipping orders within Health Canada standards, Customer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate warehouse movements of received items to appropriate locations and ensure proper labelling.
  • Responsible to adhere to and maintain and promote a positive company culture.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong working relations in a team environment.
  • Train workers in duties, policies, SOPs, and material handling equipment.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problemsolving skills in a fastpaced growing environment.
  • Adheres to safety requirements and ensures proper PPE is always worn, including by not limited to steel toe shoes, facemasks, hearing protection, lab coat, and gloves.
  • Keep a clean and tidy work area.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs as they relate to daily work activities compliance with regulations to the Cannabis Act
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

Must be able to read and write English.

Must have strong computer skills.

Able to Train & communicate a small team effectively and efficiently.

Able to perform tedious/repetitive tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Ability to work as a team or independently

Physical ability to lift to 50lbs

Overtime as required

Must have a clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted prior to start date)

  • Prolonged standing, lifting, squatting, and/or bending.
  • Long hours may be required on occasion
  • Previous Cannabis and or production experience is an asset.
  • Previous knowledge of GPP, GAP and/or GMP regulations considered an asset
  • Previous Forklift experience is an asset.
