The services we offer include the custom manufacturing, repair, and service of waste and recycling equipment including balers, compactors, and garbage chute systems.

What You'll Do

The _Electrical technician_ is responsible for on site repairs, replacement, or maintenance of chute electrical components.

You will work both in shop, wiring panels and PLC commissioning, and also on customer sites to assist with chute installation such as residential condominium floor to floor wiring.


When working with customers, the _Electrical Technician_ should provide exceptional customer service while communicating to customers the work performed and completing detailed service orders.


  • Specific Duties_
  • Troubleshooting control panels and fault finding
  • Run wire for Waste Management Equipment (WME) and install and trouble shoot all aspects of the electrical system (you will be trained)
  • Install, repair and maintain hydraulic units within the WME system.
  • Install diverter skirts as required.
  • Complete detailed work orders with parts used and communicate to customer work provided and obtain customer signature on work orders.
  • Train customers on safe usage of WME systems
  • Analyzes work orders and wiring blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.
  • Maintain parts stock in vehicle daily.
  • Valid "G" Drivers License
  • Ability to read & understand electrical drawings, schematics & blueprints
  • Experience with Ultrasonic sensors, Photoeyes, Pressure Transducers, Solenoids, Relays & Limit switches
  • Strong understanding of industrial Hydraulic, Electrical & Pneumatic systems
  • PLC experience an asset

Working Environment:

  • Assisting with installations at customer site, primarily in the GTA
  • Occasional Overtime
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors, typically in enclosed areas
  • Work in tight spaces, at heights, and on residential roof tops
