Group 161 represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, Barnett Dembek Architecture and DF Architecture. The position will be based out of DF Architecture Inc. office in Airport Executive Park, Richmond BC.


Because of our businesses growing needs we are looking to add to our administration team someone specifically responsible for Recruitment and HR Coordination.

This person will work directly with Principal, Office Manager, and all levels of staff to meet the various human resource needs of the three firms under the Group 161 umbrella.

- oriented firm specializing in residential, mixed-use, commercial, and civic buildings. We are currently working on large scale projects including wood frame multi family to residential high-rise. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Report on key metrics to continuously improve the recruitment process and employer brand
  • Work with marketing to ensure career centres, employer pages and social media accounts are updated with compelling content and employer branding
  • Provide feedback and insight to hiring managers, to help them improve their execution of the talent acquisition process and improve in their hiring results
  • Provide additional administrative support on changes in employee status, leave administration, offer letter generation and other documentation as needed
  • Onboarding / off boarding, including termination matters and related required docs
  • Management of benefits
  • Implementing procedures and ensuring they are followed/applied consistently
  • Support in completing HR initiatives, policy updates and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Education in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an HR specific role (experience in architectural or related field considered a strong asset)
  • Demonstrated experience in HR legislation and practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English; both written and verbal
  • Comfortable navigating various software, including office and payroll related
