The St. Joseph's Health Centre site of Unity Health Toronto is opening up a state of the art Palliative Care Unit. This 10 bed unit will support patients with a palliative care diagnosis who require pain and symptom management and end of life care in a tranquil environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a part of this units foundational care team. The RN works within a changing environment and in inter-professional teams to advocate for and promote wellness while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and ethical nursing care. The RN shares his/her knowledge and expertise with others and contributes to the advancement of nursing practice excellence. The RN continually enhances his/her practice and competencies through ongoing learning, education, experience and reflective practice.
