Manager, Events & Match Presentation**

Reports to:VP, Events & Fan Experience**Vancouver Whitecaps FC is looking for a new team member to join our Events & Fan Experience department in the position of
Manager, Events & Match Presentation.

The Manager, Events & Match Presentation is at the forefront of delivering unforgettable event and in-stadium experiences through the conceptualization and implementation of engaging video, experiential elements, audio enhancements, and dynamic presentations that captivate and resonate with spectators.

Specific Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Serve as the Match Producer for all MLS home matches, leading the production team on match days, cueing announcements, music, graphics, and videos
Ensure compliance with Major League Soccer (MLS) and club policies in all event production tasks, including talent bookings, instadium promotions, music programming, and script development
Collaborate with various club departments to ensure production elements and partner content meet Whitecaps FC standards
Manage production pieces, guiding them from conception to implementation and evaluation
Research, evaluate, and implement new and innovative ideas, with a focus on social media integration and emerging technologies
Oversee club Theme and Celebration matches, ensuring a unique and immersive fan experience
Oversee the execution and coordination of all MLS Next Pro and L1BC presentation requirements
Implement innovative ideas to enhance the overall matchday presentation and fan engagement
Brief match day talent on preparation and execution of ceremonies and entertainment
Develop and plan match day movement plans, overseeing and coordinating rehearsals

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum 5 years of live entertainment production experience in a fastpaced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in management or supervisory role in live entertainment production
Ability to multitask and handle business relationships in a professional manner
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
An enthusiastic attitude, working independently as well as part of a group and assuming any tasks to accomplish team goals
Must have a clean and valid drivers license
Flexibility to work match days and other special events as needed on evenings, weekends and some holidays
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
