Our offices are located in Regina and Saskatoon, Sasaktchewan and employ just unbder 50 people.

We have been around since 1995 and continue to evolve as the safety industry in construction changes and demands more or new things from us.

- * Design, develop, implement, evaluate, and revise SCSA courses in response to changes in competencies, work methods, legislation, emerging trends, good practices, learning needs assessments, gap analysis, feedback from trainers and course participants, and other evaluation tools.

  • Develop training goals and objectives; write and edit courses; create and/or secure supporting learning activities and materials; design and create presentation materials including PowerPoint files and training manuals; build assessments and develop digital content from source materials in suitable media format.
  • Lead assigned projects related to the enhancement, development, and evaluation of SCSA courses; collaborate with the training services team; orient trainers to new and revised courses and learning resources/materials; and prepare written communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist trainers in the delivery of instructorled courses throughout the instructor certification process.
  • Follow and maintain training standards to ensure the quality and integrity of course offerings.
  • Create course evaluation tools and analyze preexisting data received from course evaluations to make recommendations for course improvements.
  • Monitor, review and assess occupational health and safety legislation/regulations and safety standards to identify implications for SCSA courses.
  • Collaborate with communications/multimedia employees to develop an effective marketing approach for new courses, and to ensure internal and external stakeholders are kept informed of course development changes and updates.
  • Collaborate to conduct research in support of SCSA's mandate and to ensure course development is based on adult learning principles.
  • Provide input about emerging trends, researchbased approaches, and quality standards for the development and delivery of courses designed to encourage active student learning, participation, and overall engagement.
  • Identify and research possibilities for new safety training courses.
  • Represent the SCSA on internal/external working groups and committees.

  • The ability to read and interpret Saskatchewan occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Ability to analyze pertinent data and reports and make recommendations.
  • Comfortable and productive working with both a high degree of independence and in collaborative settings. *Required Education/Certifications & Experience:
  • * Certificate or diploma in Adult Education.
  • Three years of experience designing, developing and maintaining training courses.
