    Description

    Role Responsibilities

    • The Director, Business Operations is a crucial leadership position within the organization, reporting to the Managing Director of Procurement & System Optimization. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop both short and long-term sourcing strategies for major procurement projects. You will provide clinical and operational guidance throughout the planning and execution process, overseeing a dedicated team to ensure successful implementation.
    • Accountable for overseeing the development, integration, and assessment of provincial initiatives that impact the entire Division and its Branches. This includes driving practice changes, setting standards, and engaging with stakeholders to align with the vision and mission of Alberta Health (AH) and the newly established health organizations.
    • Lead various engagement efforts related to strategic contracting, complex projects, and broad stakeholder involvement within the healthcare sector.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external partners, drawing on your understanding of the provincial landscape to offer guidance and support across the organization. Maintain positive connections with local, provincial, and national entities, including regulatory bodies and academic institutions.
