Here is what you will be doing:
  • Actively works directly with the team for collaboration, peer support, and to ensure a consistent approach to executing work assignments. Ensures the team's lines of communication remain open and actively seeks feedback to continuously improve team dynamics.
  • Maintains expertise of their domain via interactions with external stakeholders and government organizations which would in turn be transferred to the cross
  • functional teams and other product teams in the organization.
  • Acts independently with a low level of supervision and determines when to escalate broader impacting decisions to management.

  • Identifies interpersonal relationship difficulties and helps team members and other department team members transition though difficult situations.

  • Initiates and champions change by actively looking for opportunities for improvement across team practices as well as external team practices to improve the product and the team's efficiency.
  • Leads and implements the change within the product, across the team, as well as other product teams and external product teams.
  • Anticipates project bottlenecks and blockers in short term and long
  • term product roadmaps across the organization and not just their immediate department. Works with multiple departments across divisions to overcome these challenges.
  • Independently engages and actively participates in team discussion with other internal and external product management teams to recommend product features and changes to product features to improve the user experience, operation and maintainability of the product.
  • Creates new Ontario Health business paradigms including new processes and tools.
  • Provides excellent service to internal and external clients by discovering and meeting their needs and building and maintaining positive and effective working relationships.
  • Leads by example, demonstrating integrity, creativity, and enthusiasm in achieving results directly.
