Job Summary: Join our team at EVOO Greek Kitchen, where we embody the essence of Greek hospitality through our delectable shared dishes and warm atmosphere. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, showcasing the vibrant flavors of Greece, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, providing menus and explaining specials.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, conveying any special requests to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Process payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist in setting up dining areas for service and closing duties as needed.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Greek cuisine or willingness to learn about it.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
