Wesgroup is seeking a Development Coordinator to add to its development team in Vancouver.

This individual can expect to assist the development team on a wide variety of projects over time, from large master-plan projects such as River District to smaller commercial/industrial projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinating public consultation events and neighborhood engagement
  • Issuing RFPs, summarizing submissions and notifying consultants of outcomes
  • Assisting with managing project consultants and contractors through design, development and construction (coordinate drawing and specifications to project consultants, sales and marketing team, trades and construction team)
  • Managing electronic and hard copy files and project ftp sites
  • Supporting the development team with preparation of consultant agreements, purchase orders, change orders and internal commitments
  • Conducting general research and market analysis
  • Supporting the development team in preparation of presentations
  • Assist in due diligence work and analysis for potential projects or properties

Qualifications and Knowledge:


  • A fit with Wesgroup's culture and organizational approach is paramount
  • Education and background in Real Estate, Commerce, Urban Land Economics, Architecture, Planning, Legal or Engineering
  • Established network of contacts within the municipal, consultant and development communities
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills including the ability to multitask with competing priorities
  • Excellent understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fastpasted team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
  • Positive attitude and a desire to help others
