About Thomson Power Systems

Thomson Power systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service leaders; reporting to the Manager, Project Management.

Responsibilities:

Defining project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
Monitoring project implementation to ensure best practices in terms of costs, resource efficiency, and risk management.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them, and acting as the key contact for the customer.
Managing the project according to agreed requirements, ensuring that all targets are met, and that relevant guidelines are followed.
Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract closeout and acknowledgement by the customer.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager for Electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and distribution, ideally within North America.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education required. PMP designation an asset.
Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
Sound knowledge of both low and medium voltage Switchgear and the market.
Management experience in project execution, with strong, welldeveloped communication, influencing and coaching skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Some travel may be required of up to 10%
