As our Branch Operations Manager, you will provide daily management of branch operations including technical services delivery and customer support for the delivery of a portfolio of fire and marine safety products, services, and solutions to a variety of industrial, institutional, and commercial customers.


  • Championing safety leadership in all aspects of the operation through regular communication of safety objectives; review of safety performance; and adherence to safety standards, policies and procedures established in the HSE system.
  • Ensuring efficient and effective branch technical services and customer service operations through daily oversight and decisionmaking regarding work schedules and execution including preparation for work, optimization of material utilization, inspection of work progress, equipment, and worksites;
  • Managing execution of multiple projects/contracts of varying scopes and complexity, including day to day business, to ensure that all activities follow client, company, regulatory and safety requirements
  • Stewarding achievement of branch financial objectives through effective budget stewardship including daily management of customer relationships and service delivery; support of product and service growth opportunities; and management of operating expenses including staffing, inventory, and capital assets.
  • Supporting achievement of branch sales and service delivery plans, programs, and processes, in consultation with the Regional Manager.
  • Optimizing local service delivery opportunities and existing client relationships, through identification of opportunities to address additional; needs of current clients as well as expand services to new clients.
  • Engaging with customers in an effective and timely manner to build meaningful customer relationships and proactively respond to identified issues and concerns.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high performing, cohesive branch team possessing the requisite training, skills, and customer focus.
  • Fostering a work environment conducive to open communication, initiative, and team work to maintain high levels of morale and a welcome growthoriented mindset.
  • Participating in committees, meeting and other opportunities for branch, regional and organizational collaboration.
  • Operationally driven, reinforcing accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Able to lead a diverse team to safely execute highquality work ontime, every time.
  • Willing to get their hands dirty, when necessary, supporting execution of fire and marine related work both in the shop and on client sites.
  • Customer oriented, demonstrating attention to delivering toptier service, timely support and valued solutions.
  • Adaptable to the changing situations and priorities of a diverse and fastpaced operation.
  • Collaborative and communicative in their approach to managing relationships with team members, clients, colleagues, vendors, and all stakeholders.
  • Solutions focused, analyzing information and situations in a timely and decisive manner and taking action.
  • Observant, with a keen attention to detail and a curiosity that drives continuous learning.
  • Professional, highly motivated and a team player.
  • Able to work overtime and travel overnight to support operational requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational management role leading a field service delivery team or similar operating environment.
  • Experience in the marine, fire, life safety, mechanical, or other related technical field.
  • Industrial or postsecondary training in field or operations management, marine services, fire protection, or related field would be considered an asset.




NOTE:
All combinations of education in a related and experience will be considered.


Given the nature of our operations, they must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to remote client sites and other operating locations.

Overtime may be necessary; therefore, flexibility in hours of work will be required.
