What you'll do here

:


  • Formulate appropriate recommendations after analyzing and interpreting reports produced by actuarial analysts to improve the performance of products and services.
  • Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of members of their group to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Manage their team's activities by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget planning.
  • Manage and provide technical advice to the members of their group responsible for actuarial work and studies (product rating, reserves, financial projections, contribution to regulatory requirements, etc.).
  • Represent the actuarial function in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.

What you bring to the table

:


  • Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Jobspecific designation: Mathematics, Actuarial Science, FCAS an asset.
  • Minimum of 7 years including 2 years of coaching (major asset).
  • Strong skills and knowledge of actuarial techniques.
  • Lead with vision and values.
