What you'll do here

:

Formulate appropriate recommendations after analyzing and interpreting reports produced by actuarial analysts to improve the performance of products and services.
Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of members of their group to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.
Manage their team's activities by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget planning.
Manage and provide technical advice to the members of their group responsible for actuarial work and studies (product rating, reserves, financial projections, contribution to regulatory requirements, etc.).
Represent the actuarial function in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.

What you bring to the table

:

Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Jobspecific designation: Mathematics, Actuarial Science, FCAS an asset.
Minimum of 7 years including 2 years of coaching (major asset).
Strong skills and knowledge of actuarial techniques.
Lead with vision and values.
