Housekeeper/ Building Cleaner - Halifax, Canada - The Berkeley Retirement Residences
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean windows and glass surfaces as required
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Ability to relate to elderly persons showing courtesy and understanding
- Must be available evenings, weekends, holidays
