Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to residents such as: bathing, dressing, aid in ambulation, etc.
Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, assisting with meals, cleaning of the dining room after each meal, as well as the general tidying of resident rooms on a daily basis.
Provide companionship to residents
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Experience as a Personal Care Worker and the ability to perform the physical duties of a PCW
Experience with Dementia care
First Aid and CPR certificates
Ability to relate to elderly persons, showing courtesy, compassion and understanding
Shifts vary must be flexible and reliable
Strong communication and listening skills
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
